In Ticino there are a number of local markets selling flowers, fruit and vegetables, eggs, cold meats, cheeses and other local products. Among these, of particular interest is the Saturday market at Bellinzona. The traders' stalls also offer handcrafted wares, jewellery, clothes and, of course, souvenirs. It is only a short step from the markets to the high fashion boutiques and modern shopping centres. You can't visit Ticino without doing a bit of shopping, which here caters for all pockets and all tastes!
