The Locarno Regional Pass is an exclusive season ticket which is both practical and all-inclusive, allowing you to move freely at a very affordable price. For an entire week or for 3 days out of 7 (you choose which), you can travel on public and tourist transport in the Locarno area and in the nearby region. The Pass is modern and easy to use, allowing holders to travel free of charge in comfort on post-busses, trains, funicolars, cable cars and boats, getting to know the local beauty spots. The offer, promoted by the Union of the Public and Turistic Transports Ticino (UTPT-Ticino) and by the "Comunità tariffale Ticino and Moesano / Arcobaleno" is also supported by Ticino Turismo and Lago Maggiore Tourism.
The Pass price is very interesting: 108 francs for seven days or 92 francs for three days. There is more discount for those who do own a FSS general pass or a "half-fare" pass. Also children (until 16 years) can take advantage of the benefits of the Junior Card.
The Locarno Regional Pass & Prova Arcobaleno can be bought at the Tourism offices, at the FART offices and also in some hotels.
